This Privacy Policy explains how Puerto Rico Engineering, LLC ("PRE," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit engineering.pr or get in touch with us. It describes only what we actually do.
Who we are

- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, book a call through our scheduler, or reach us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, we collect what you provide: typically your name, email, phone number, and the project details you choose to share.
- Scheduling information. When you book a call, our scheduler records the meeting time and adds it to our calendar so we can meet with you.
- Usage and device information. With your consent where required, we collect analytics about how the site is used (for example, pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the source that referred you) through the cookies described in our Cookie Policy. Our hosting provider also processes basic technical logs, such as IP address, to deliver and secure the site.
- Guide personalization. To surface the buyer guides most relevant to you, we may remember which guide topics you read, kept only on your device (in your browser) and never shared with anyone. This is optional. It is on by default outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, where we ask you to opt in first, and you can turn it off or clear it at any time with .
How and why we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiry and communicate with you;
- scope, schedule, and deliver engineering and project-management services;
- operate, secure, and improve the website; and
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
For visitors in the EEA and the UK, our legal bases are: our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, running our business, and securing the site; taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; your consent for optional analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations.

We use a small number of necessary cookies to run the site, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked to opt in before any optional cookies load; elsewhere these cookies load by default and you can change your choice at any time. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- HubSpot for our contact forms, scheduling, and customer-relationship management;
- Google for website analytics (Google Analytics 4) and for calendar and video meetings (Google Calendar and Google Meet); and
- Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery, and security.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International data transfers
We are based in Puerto Rico (United States), and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Inquiry and contact details are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

US state residents
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know about, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we honor browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
EEA and UK residents
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
